TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Depart Belize City and head west for the Barton Creek area in the Cayo District. When at
Barton Creek you will be briefed and outfitted with safety equipment and your canoes.
Paddle about a mile and a half into the mysterious Barton Creek Cave. The cave was a
burial site of the Maya about 600 AD. The formations of stalactites and stalagmites are
awesome. En-route to the cave you will pass through the Amish Mennonite community of Barton
Creek - very scenic area. After the tour is completed, you will be transfered back to Belize
City for tender transfers back to the ship.
In compliance with insurance requirements, Liability Waivers are required for this activity.
