TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Board your motor coach and head out along the Western Highway. Mile 46 brings you to
the banks of the Olde Belize River, where you will be ferried across to Banana Bank Ranch,
the site of a unique eco-lodge. A short walk brings you to the "Equestrian Grounds", where
stables and well-groomed horses await their riders. The "loppers" and "trotters" will have
their own jungle trails rich with flora and fauna. Your guide and escort will make sure that
all points of interest, including TICA, a 17 year old female jaguar hand raised from a cub on
the property, colorful Macaw Parrots, and a mischievous Spider Monkey - all resident on this
large private estate, are visited (Great Photo Ops).
A Canoe expedition down the meandering river is also an option. A good home cooked
lunch will be served with refreshments. A cash bar will be available.
In compliance with insurance requirements, Liability Waivers are required for this activity.
